GIVEN A TOP SALES EXECUTIVE AWARD

MINNESOTA, May 2006 ... Cheryl Gilbertson, sales manager for The
Northland Inn, has received a national sales excellence award from
Benchmark Hospitality International of The Woodlands (Houston),
Texas, which manages the hotel.
Benchmark recently announced the recipients of its annual Top Sales
Executives Awards at the company's national sales meeting. Award
winners were selected from among more than 125 sales and marketing
professionals system-wide. Awards were given out based on exemplary
sales performance, team participation, and strong leadership exhibited
throughout the year.
Ms. Gilbertson received the Benchmark Bulldog Award. This award
is presented to a Benchmark sales executive who has been confronted
with several challenging sales situations during the year and has
managed each with professionalism and a positive outlook. ""Cheryl
is truly one of the great sales professionals in the market,"
stated Fred Julius, general manager of The Northland Inn. "The
hotel was faced with the challenge of replacing a large series of
training business. Cheryl creatively found new business, effectively
recouped the lost revenue and exceeded the original gap by 45%.
