THE NORTHLAND INN, AN EXECUTIVE CONFERENCE CENTER

July 2, 2006 — Brooklyn Park MINNEAPOLIS, MN Benchmark Hospitality International (BHI) announced the appointment of Charles Nehme as General Manager of The Northland Inn, an Executive Conference Center in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.


            Mr. Nehme has been in the hospitality industry for 30 years and holds a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Before Benchmark, Mr. Nehme was the president of a small hotel management company in Texas, where he was involved in the development and management of several hotels. Prior to this position, Mr. Nehme was Regional Vice President of Operations with Signet Hotel Corporation where he was responsible for the financial performance of eight hotel & resort properties. During his career, Mr. Nehme also led teams in renovating and opening new hotels.


           Born and raised in Lebanon, Mr. Nehme immigrated to the United States as a young man. He began his hospitality career with Marriott Hotels & Resorts and held management positions in Miami, Los Angeles, the Essex House in NY, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Mr. Nehme was also the managing director of resorts such as Carmel Highland Golf & Tennis Resort in San Diego and the Mount Washington Resort in New Hampshire.
